Decoupage/Decopatch information
Decorate the paper mache shapes without Decopatch papers.
Crafters tend to use posters, marketing literature, old books, magazines, wall paper and even fabric to decoupage i.e. not just Decopatch papers.
Decoupage is a crafting technique that means THE ART OF DECORATING USING PAPERS.
These products are now available via our Personal Impressions website.

William (Billy) Travilla The Man Who Dressed Hollywood
The Man Who Dressed Hollywood.
Born in California in 1920, William "Billy" Travilla first started selling pencil sketched costume designs at the age of 16.
He began to work in Hollywood in 1942 and gradually became more and more successful until in 1949 he earned an Oscar for the Errol Flynn swashbuckler 'The Adventures of Don Juan'.
By 1952 he was close friends with Marilyn Monroe and created the costumes for 'Don't Bother to Knock' and 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes'.
In 1953, Travilla created arguably the most famous dress in cinema history.
It was a white halter neck dress from the film 'The Seven Year Itch'. One of the most famous scenes from any movie shows her standing on a New York subway ventilation grate and the dress raises up around her as a train passes below.
She once wrote to Travilla "Billy Dear, please dress me forever. I love you, Marilyn."
Other notable Stars that were lucky enough to wear Travilla designed costumes include Dionne Warwick, Whitney Houston, Faye Dunaway, Judy Garland, Jane Russell, Betty Grable, Joanne Woodward, Paul Newman, Barbara Stanwyck and the cast of Dallas. Link: Travilla Products
